Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

    1. When do I pay my monthly payments?
Payments are due by end of first week of each month.

    2. What if I have to miss a couple weeks of classes.
There is no difference in your monthly payment, but please call the office to let us know how long you will be absent.

    3. What if my payment is just late?
If your payment is more than 5 days late, please include a $15 late fee along with your monthly payment.

    4. Does the class schedule change during the summer or any other seasons?
The class schedule will only change when the master sees it necessary to change it. It usually stays the same all year. A couple changes may take place through out the year.

    5. How many classes can I come to per week?
It is recommended that you come to 2 - 3 classes per week, but you may come as many times as you would like.

    6. Do you have any family discount programs?
My family would like to join. Yes we do have family discounts. Please see Master Han for that information.

    7. I have friends that want to train with me but it is too expensive, what can I do?
First of all, it is important that you do NOT share pricing information with your friends. They must experience the value before they hear the price or they may make an improper judgment. Just invite them to come take a FREE lesson and then we will discuss price afterwards. The truth is that the benefits of Martial Arts are worth MUCH more than the fee we charge.

    8. I forgot my uniform, can I still take class?
Yes you may take class, but if there are other belt ranks in class then you will train in the back of the classroom.

    9. May I take pictures of my family members while they are training?
Yes, you may take pictures at any time.

    10. My child is being disrespectful or he got into a fight at school, what do I do?
Make an appointment for a FREE counseling session with the Master Han.

    11. Is it OK to wear my uniform out in public?
Remember to package yourself for your purpose. If you don’t have much time to change clothes and have the right motives then it is OK. The right motive may be to advertise for your martial arts school. The wrong motive would be to show off and let everyone know that you do martial arts so that they think you are a big shot.

    12. My child’s grades are bad at school, should I take him/her out of martial arts for discipline until his/her grades get better? You must remember that martial arts training is educational and is meant to help your child to focus more. The discipline that your child receives in our school will help in raising the grades. So it is not a good idea to take your child away from their training. Also, it is a good idea to make an appointment for your child to speak to their master instructor to discuss their school grades. (Please bring a copy of their report card)

    13. I want to be more a part of the school, how can I plug in and volunteer my time?
We have many things that you can help with. Just let your instructor know that you would like to help out more. i. Cleaning ii. Organizing iii. Courtesy Calls iv. Handing Out Flyers v. Decorating vi. Door Greeter vii. Attendance Card Processing viii. And more…

    14. Are there any other fees besides monthly class fees?
The testing fee for kids is $40, teenagers $45 and adults $50 for each test. If a student wants to participate in Olympic Sparring Class he/she needs full protective gear that must be purchased through Master Han. This class is not a requirement but a recommendation.
